Curry Powder is another blend of spices used throughout Indian cooking that typically includes coriander, turmeric, cumin, fenugreek, chili peppers and has a lovely deep yellow color.
Slight variations are used in different countries and may include other ingredients like ginger, cinnamon, clove.
The word “Curry” is derived from the Tamil word “kari” meaning “sauce, relish for rice”
